Hi,

I am trying to set up SSH/Telnet on a WPA2000 Wireless-G Access Point. I have looked for documentation but am unable to find any that says how to do this via the GUI, and I cannot see any obvious place where this could be. Has anyone manged to set this up? I would prefer SSH but telnet will do.

Hi Sarah, the wireless small business products do not support a CLI configuration, hence no documentation. Additionally, the only management options would be through http/https and SNMP V1, 2, 3.

Thanks Tom.

I was afraid of that. Thanks for the update.

If you really want (I don't recommend) you can get WAP4410N. It supports set/get commands. However, this CLI is also unsupported but it is accessible (easily).

I do forewarn, those devices have known stability issues so I would not put weight in a CLI access versus a solid performing product.

Hi Tom,

We're going to stick with the WAP2000's we have. The reason for me trying to access the CLI is that the firmware has been updated to 2.0.0.5 and the device is no longer accessible over HTTP and the wifi no longer works. The wireless light is on however.
