I have two WAP561's and I want a single pint setup. I followed the single point setup instructions and believe I have done everything correctly. I installed the latest firmware on both AP's and both AP's have the same cluster name and they both see the other AP in the cluster. But nothing has changed from a wireless access point of view. I still have two different SSID's - the upstairs AP and the downstairs AP. When I connect to the downstairs AP from upstairs it's slow. When I connect to the downstairs AP from downstairs, it's fast. Same with the upstairs AP. This is exactly how it worked before. What did I choose Single Point Setup for? Absolutely nothing has changed. Shouldn't I have a single SSID that the computer can connect to whether I'm downstairs or upstairs and always have a strong signal?

Hi,
You may refer the below mentioned link to cross-verify the requirements and settings regarding Single Point Setup.
For better wireless coverage at your location, you may try using Cisco Business Wireless Access Points and Mesh Extenders.

I did exactly what that document says. I should have only one SSID now, correct? Should I go in and give both access points the same SSID? Now that I did all of the steps in that document how do I actually use the MESH network?
