WAP121 - Connection Problems

Gabriele C.

Level 1

Hi,

in our school we have >10 WAP121-E-K9 V01 (fw 1.0.6.2)

Sometimes it happens that all associated clients to a related AP are no longer able to surf and new devices can't connect to the "freezed" AP. Only solution is reboot the AP.

It may depend on the large number of associated clients? Solutions?

Here for other details to fix the problem.

Best regards

Thank you

Hi Gabriele,

Thank you for contacting Cisco support community center. In order to have a better understanding of the issue, could you please answer the below questions?

- How many users are being connected to the AP? The recommended user support is "Up to 16 connected users, or 10 active users."

- Is bandwidth utilization enabled on the AP? You may check this by going to "Wireless/Bandwidth Utilization". This option stops accepting new client associations when the percentage limit has been reached.

- Could you please attach a screenshot of the logs?
