Dear,
We have two WAP321 with firmware 1.0.53 running in a cluster. The AP's are configured as 5 ghz - n channel 40. Channel bandwidth 20 (tested with 20/40 : no difference).
The connected PC's are running fine. The situation with the iPad's has degraded to unworkable since ios 8.4.
Connection is lost several times an hour, when the iPad dims the screen, wireless connection is dropped and does not restore automatically when using the screen again. This means also that all notifications are more or less late. Less important for 'news' but a lot more important when one uses an app to control an access door.
I've shutted down the iPads manually (hard shutdown), disconnected and rebooted the access points etc. but nothing improves the situation.
In the log file, I see a lot of the following messages :

Attached, you'll find the config of one of the AP's. Has anyone an idea what I can do to improve the situation ?

Did this issue only start occurring when the iPads were upgraded to iOS 8.4? If so, it sounds like there's a bug within iOS, especially since you say that the connection is fine until the screen dims.
I found another community post that was made a while ago that seems to be about the same issue you're experiencing. A solution that was found by the original poster is as follows:

Thanks for your help. I think it is iOS 8.4 related but I hope to hear some confirmation on this forum :)
I improved the situation by configuring some recommendations I found on the forum :
1. Moving to 5 ghz n-band , 20/40 MHz bandwidth
2. Statically assigned channel 40 to one AP and 48 to the second AP.
3. Fixed multi cast rating at 54 mbit
4. Changed broadcast refresh rate to 0 (in networks)
5. Disabled bandwidth utilisation
6. Disabled unscheduled automatic power save delivery under Wireless - Qos
7. Disabled client QoS
8. Reset network configuration on all IOS devices, and reconfigured the clients on rebooted AP's
9. Disable all features with the word 'Green' in it on both the AP321 and the SG300
I have now added 'disable bonjour' to the list.
The experience is a bit better, but not good enough. Wireless connection is sometimes dropped and will not reestablish itself automatically. When I go through the Wifi section in the settings app, the Sid is shown and it reestablish a link in less than a second.
Apple does not confirm a problem - off course. PC's are working fine and two android's also.

JUst as a note, keep in mind that using the Channel Bandwidth 20/40, that as the bandwidth detects wireless chatter on the additional bandwidth it automatically drops down to 20. When this happens, you will get also see a drop in wireless performance since it is no longer functioning at double the bandwidth.
An additional item that you can check is, look at wireless security and TKIP. Also if possible use WPA2 exclusively, sometimes no possible on the last one but disabling TKIP, I have seen help with alot of the newer Apple devices.

"I have seemed to fix most things by doing the following:
- Disable Bandwidth Utilization
- Set a static channel per radio (1,6,11)
- Disable Bonjour (leave that to the router and/or switch instead)
