Hi i have a problem with my brand-new cisco wap571.
I connected the wap to my poe switch Netgear GS728TP if i connect it to a standard poe port 802.3af it works fine but if I try to connect to a poe+ port 802.3at it powers but it doesn't boot well, the led sometimes flashes green and it turns itself off.
The firmware is 1.0.0.17
Please help me
I have another wap561 that works fine with poe+ on the same switch
P.S. i tried wap571 with LINKSYS LACPI30 poe+ injector SAME PROBLEM
Please release a new firmware!!!!

Hello Pierluigi,
I am really sorry for your inconvenience.
Could you please tell me if this issue appears on previous firmware versions as well?
I would like to suggest that you call our support line at:
http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/support/web/tsd-cisco-small-business-support-center-contacts.html
so we can open up a ticket and enable logs/make a packet capture in order to determine if it's not a negotiation issue.
Kind regards,
Milan Milanov

Now the issue with firmware 1.0.0.17 appeares only if i try to reboot the wap571 via web GUI or if I disconnect the ethernet cord and Ireconnect it without waiting for 5 min, otherwise it resets to factory default.
By the the way,the cisco is connected to a poe+ port, and its uptime is 3 days.

I'm disappointed to say that.
I had to buy an access point from another brand.
It's unthinkable to use an ap like that sometimes it works sometimes no.
