1131 ignoring static IP settings

We have a Model 4402 wireless controllerand are noticing a strange issue. After a power outage, some of the 1131AG access points will obtain an IP address via DHCP rather than using the static address we have configured. When they reboot in this manner clients cannot connect. By going into the controller and issuing a reset command after deleting the lease on our DHCP server the AP point will reboot correctly and clients can connect correctly. Attached is a screenshot showing what the issue looks like. It seems to occur to different APs randomly. After a power outage last night, 4 APs had this issue of the 40 we have in operation.

Hi Rob,

If you configure an access point to use a static IP address that is not on the same subnet on which the access point's previous DHCP address was, the access point falls back to a DHCP address after the access point reboots. If the access point falls back to a DHCP address, the show ap config general Cisco_AP CLI command correctly shows that the access point is using a fallback IP address. However, the GUI shows both the static IP address and the DHCP address, but it does not identify the DHCP address as a fallback address.

Hope it helps.
