For a customer we need to configure a couple of Aironet 1240AG Access Points for Bonjour/Apple Printing. I have seen some documents on cisco.com how to configure this (enabling multicast) on a controller. Unfortunately the customer does not own a controller at all.
Question: Is it possible to configure the needed items using the WebGUI of the APs without using a controller?
Best regards,

For those AP's, running v12.4 and having multicast enabled on the network side is all you need. The devices have to be on the same subnet or else you will have to deploy a bonjour gateway like Avahi.
Here is a doc that show the setup for the Avahi.

Hi Scott,
does that mean that I have to configure some IGMP on the switches? In case that is the fact: No further configuration on the APs is neccessary?
Best regards,
Martin.

Not on the autonomous. There are a few post regarding this. I will have to try to find it.

Hi Scott,
I have red the post you mentioned.
But as far as I understood, the whole scenario in the post is based on a setup with a WLC (correct me if I am wrong).
Our customer does not have any WLC (Controller).
Best regards,
Martin.
