1200 causing spanning-tree 'Altn BLK'

Hi,

Can you help please?

I have four 1200's covering an area, with some radio overlap.

One of the AP's is causing it's switch-port to go into spanning-tree "Altn BLK" state constantly.

The AP's are running an more or less 'out-of-the-box' configuration.

The switchport config is here:

---

interface GigabitEthernet2/0/22

switchport access vlan 60

switchport mode access

---

What is causing this, and how can I stop it?

Thanks in advance,

The issue may due to Spanning tree flap .Because of this AP was dropping the BPDU's due to high cpu

Hi,

Can you please explain more?

We also have three other AP's plugged into the same switch on the same VLAN, and they are not experiencing a problem.

The problem seems to be the Switch receiveing BPDU's from the AP.

How can this happen if we don't have Bridging configured on the AP?

Thanks,
