1242 Antenna Orientation with WCS

Hopefully someone here can clarify this for me:

I'm a little confused about what is meant by antenna orientation when using the 1242 with ANT 4941 in wcs.

As it is an omni antenna is the orientation the direction a certain part of the antenna is facing or does it relate to wether you have the antenna set straight or bent on it's hinge.

Or have I missed the point completley??
