Hi all,
could someone tell me if it is possible to have 2 1300 device configured as follow:
- 1 aironet 1300 configured as Root Bridge With client association ( Root bridge & AP )
- 1 aironet 1300 configured as Non root Bridge with client association.
Is true that 1300 Bridge cover long distance rather that 1200 devices AP ??
Thanks in advance
Matt

The root bridge can be associating clients and at the same time associate non-root bridges. So line no 1 of yours is possible.
Line no 2 is not possible. Non-root bridge will associate only to root bridges.

The 1300 will send out the signal farther than the 1200. However, the problem will be the ability for the client's signal to reach the 1300. The client usually does not have a high gain antenna, which the 1300 does.
If you want the 1300 for an AP, you must keep this in mind.
