I have 2 1572EAC APs and can not connect to the devices via the console port.
I have check the com port setting and the cable and have tested the connection to both a 1552 AP and a switch using the same cable without issues.
Is there any special setting for the serial connection to the console port on the 1572EAC

For anyone with this issue, I thought I had the same issue as well, but I just noticed I was using the wrong port. This AP has two RJ-45 ports, one labeled Console, the other Serial. Of course I was on the Serial port and it wasn't working. Moving to the Console port worked as expected.

In my case i was using serial console, I later used normal cisco console cable rj45-to-db9 console cable with hyper terminal and i was able to connect into the Access Point
