Do Not enable this, in 2.4GHz, you have 3 channel to work with, if you bond 2 channels together then there won't be enough channel for other AP nearby and end up with interfering each other.

If possible, Do you have any methods or suggestions to enable 2.4G HT40 on Cisco2702AP? Or Engineering build?
