I have a 2106 controller that I've been able to configure using the console port and enable the GUI. Its my understanding that the 1141's need the controller to be able to be configured, however, when I connect them to the 2106 I can see the waps but I can't save any of the settings (Name, static IP). I was looking at some of the documents that Cisco has produced, and the "Global Settings" option is not in the controller that I have, do I need a firmware upgrade? Or is there a reason why the controller can't make any changes to the wap's?
