I’m having a problem with 2700 series APs on a 9800 CL WLC.
The controller is running 17.3.4c. This version still supports the 2700 series
Client connections to many of the 2702s are slow and intermittent. I went to one of the buildings having the issue and experienced the problems. As soon as I took down the 2702 and replaced it with an 1852 the problems went away.
The APs were migrated from an older controller and included primarily 2702I and 1852I. They are all Flex connect.
I haven't had any trouble with the 1852s.
we have hundreds of 2702s in various building so it's really becoming an issue.
I’m wondering if I need to do something different in the WLAN, Policy profile or Flex profile to accommodate the 2702.
Any help would be appreciated.

- Have a go with : https://software.cisco.com/download/home/286323158/type/282046477/release/Amsterdam-17.3.5b , because it contains the latest bugfixes for the XE-train that can still support the older IOS based AP's. Also review the 9800 CL configuration with the CLI command : show tech wireless , have the output analyzed by https://cway.cisco.com/

Marce Your advice is very good. I upgraded the software on the controller and made a number of changes to settings based on the output of the the WirelessAnalyzer. I really like the tool and will be using it in the future. All seems to be well now. Your help is greatly appreciated
