Hi!
I've been having a problem lately with following setup: 350 AP, newest firmware, reset to defaults. 350 PC-Card, newest Software Package & Firmware.
Signal strength between 90% and 100%. Signal quality between 60% and 70%.
Problem: When I transfer data, the rate drops to 2Mbps consistently. I'm assuming when I use the bandwidth it first tries 11Mbps, then switches to 5.5Mbps and finally to 2Mbps.
I did a site survey:
1Mbps: 0 packets lost to target, 0 lost to source
2Mbps: 2 packets lost to target, 0 lost to source
5.5Mbps: 999 packets (all) lost to source, 0 to target
11Mbps: 999 packets lost to source, 0 to target
So does anybody know what's going on? I'd appreciate all help.
Regards. Igor

Igor,
Sounds like you have a noisy RF environment there.
On the AP do you see a lot of CRC errors and hold offs??

Actually, I do. When transferring data, the CRC errors increase rapidly.
Regarding a site survey test, what would be "normal" values for a site. I've set the channels according to what the manual says is the best frequency after doing the survey, but that doesn't say anything about absolute values.
Any clues?
Greetings. Igor
