350 is working fine with inline power injecter, but it keeps reloading when connecting to 3524XL with inline power.

is there anything special for this approach?

Often times complex troubleshooting issues are best addressed in an interactive session with one of our trained technical assistance engineers. While other forum users may be able to help, it’s often difficult to do so for this type of issue.

To utilize the resources at our Technical Assistance Center, please visit http://www.cisco.com/tac and to open a case with one of our TAC engineers, visit http://www.cisco.com/tac/caseopen

If anyone else in the forum has some advice, please reply to this thread.

If possible, try another Access Point and another C3524-PWR-XL. This should let you know which end has the problem - if it's just the AP, it may be faulty.

If the problem is on the switch end, there could be a config problem or just faulty hardware.

There can be issues with overloading the power supply (such as using too many inline powered devices on a Cat6000 with a small PSU), but that's not going to be the problem with a 3500.

Make sure the AP has the latest firmware, it'll help if/when you call TAC.
