I am not having a successful time getting Linux to use the 350 MiniPCI internal card in my Dell Latitude D810, using LEAP for our network.
I have tried downloading the linux drivers but that seems to be a dead end. I can't even get the install script to run. As you probably want to know here is my info:
CentOS 4 (RH EL4)
Kernel 2.6.9-5.0.3EL
It looks like the hardware is recognized. In my network window I show the hardware being detected as "AIRONET Wireless Communications Cisco Aironet Wireless 802.11b"
When I attempt to run acu I keep getting the error "No radio found".
I have spent the last 2 weeks trying to get this to work and am at my wits end. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.
Could this be an issue because it is kernel 2.6?
Please help someone.
Thanks.

Loup,
I have a D400 and simply installed the standard Suse9.2 which has the 2.6 kernel as a basis. The WLAN was found automatically and works fine, (at least for non-LEAP networks). Is there anything I could send you to help identify the problem?

I have the EXACT same set of circumstances, however I'm using:
RH WS3
Kernel 2.4.21-27.0.4.EL
On an IBM T40 ThinkPad.
If you have any luck getting it to work, please let me know and I'll do the same.
