It will power the AP up, but if you have any of the 3602 modules, like the WSSI, AC or the 3G, you need 802.at or PoE+.

Example:

Power Draw

3600i/3600e with the WSSI module requires 17 W

Powering Options

3600 Series Access Point with the WSSI module

• Enhanced Power over Ethernet (PoE): up to 20 W configurable on an Ethernet port basis

• 802.3at PoE+: 25.5 W delivered to the Access Point

• Cisco 3600 Series Power Injectors (AIR-PWRINJ4=)

• Cisco 3600 Series Local Power Supply (AIR-PWR-B=)

Thanks,

Scott

Check the power supplies you have.  Some 4K PoE blades won't power up if you have the low-powered PS.

Access point power options: power supplied by the recommended external power supply (Cisco

AIR-PWR-B), a DC power supply, PoE from a network device, or a PoE power injector/hub

(usually located in a wiring closet).

The recommended external power supply for the access point is the Cisco AIR-PWR-B

power supply. The access point can also be powered by the following optional external

power sources:

– 1250 series access point power injector (AIR-PWRINJ4)

– Any 802.3af compliant power injector
