3650 & 3850 Switches as wireless controllers.

Hi guys,

I have a 3650 & a 3850 switch..I manged to convert the 3650 to act as a WLC. When I connect the access point directly to the 3650 it registers and works fine but when i connect it to through the 3850 im only getting errors on the 3650 and the access point does not register.

I have two 1562 outdoor access points that are quite far apart one is connected directly to the 3650 while the other is connected to the 3850 ..

How can I setup the one connected through the 3850 to register?

The APs need to be directly connected to the WLC.
If an AP is hanging off a switch then it won't work.
