Hello,
I have problem with two 3850, one is controler the other one is agent.
2 AP connected on the MC are working and not the AP on the MA.
I can see on the MC that MA is UP :
The MC see all the AP :
It seems that no SSID is broadcast from the AP APb838.6107.2826 . It's impossible te connect on it.
Here the configuration of MC
wireless mobility controller
wireless mobility controller peer-group KPG
wireless mobility controller peer-group KPG member ip 10.56.43.244 public-ip 10.56.43.244
wireless management interface Vlan2
ap country FR
ap group default-group
Even ap dot11 command are not present on the MC, all is UP and client are connected on AP of MC.
I found this errror :
%IOSXE-7-PLATFORM: 1 process wcm: 6c99.89a1.d010 Ignoring unsupported vendor-specific message 0x00409600-0088-Call AP System Stats Payload from AP 6c99.89a1.d010
Do you have ideas on this problem please?
Regards,
JB

ps MUST be directly connected to 3850 to join a 3850,so what options are you left with: 1)You can see catalyst 3850 switch model which supports PoE, you can see table in link for catalyst 3850 switch models supporting PoE: http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/switches/lan/catalyst3850/software/release/3.2_0_se/releas e_notes/OL28114.html#wp223622 So if you directly connect the AP to the 3850 switch and your switch model doesn't support PoE then: 2)You will then need to select an alternate powering option for your AP as shown in table 1 below: http://www.cisco.com/en/US/prod/collateral/wireless/ps5678/ps12534/data_sheet_c78-709514.h tml Powering Options for Cisco AP2600: Cisco AP2600 Power Injectors (AIR-PWRINJ4=) Cisco AP2600 Local Power Supply (AIR-PWR-B=) For documentation on Aps must be directly connected to 3850 to join a 3850, you can refer to link and Q&A section: http://www.cisco.com/en/US/prod/collateral/switches/ps5718/ps12686/qa_c67-722110.html http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/switches/lan/catalyst3850/software/release/3.2_0_se/releas e_notes/OL28114.html#wp171441 http://www.cisco.com/en/US/prod/collateral/switches/ps5718/ps12686/deployment_guide_c07-72 7067.html#wp9000118 --Snip from Q&A----- Q. Which models of access points can a Cisco Catalyst 3850 switch support? A. The following models of access points are supported: LAP1040, LAP1142, LAP1260, CAP3500, CAP3600, CAP2600, and CAP1600. Q. In what modes can an access point operate when connected to a Cisco Catalyst 3850? A. The following access point modes are supported on the Cisco Catalyst 3850: Local mode SE connect mode Monitor mode Sniffer mode Flex mode and indoor mesh access points are not supported. Q. Does the Cisco Catalyst 3850 support indirectly connected access points? A. No. The Cisco Catalyst 3850 switch will always terminate the CAPWAP tunnel locally. Pass-through mode or indirectly connected access point is not supported at this time. Q. In what wireless modes can the Cisco Catalyst 3850 operate? A. The Cisco Catalyst 3850 Series Switch supports two modes of operation. It can be operated as a mobility agent or mobility controller. Once you do have the Aps directly connected to the C3850 with PoE support or are using the relevant powering option incase you connect your Aps directly to C3850, but your C3850 doesn't support PoE, then your issue will be resolved. All the config relevant to have a working scenario is also summarised in: https://supportforums.cisco.com/docs/DOC-34430

Hello,
Thanks for this answer. The problem was simple. WLAN needed to be created also on the mobilitay agent.
