3850 switch and 3702 AP

Hi,

I am attempting to commission 125no. 3702 LWAPs controlled by a 3850 switch.  The network consists of 1no. controller and 10 agents. All the APs have registered and joined the controller via DHCP.  However, almost all radios are not operational. 

Can anyone help please?

I have very limited experience so its probably an easy fix.

Luke,

If the AP's are registered, you are in good shape.  What you see is typical when you don't have any SSID's defined on the WLC and assigned to the access points.  Also the country code for the access points must also be defined on the controller.  Verify these things and also ensure that the access points joined to the controller have an admin status of enabled and the 2.4ghz and 5ghz radios are enabled.

Pls check the following output from your MA switches, as that will verify AP radio status.

show ap dot11 5ghz summary 
show ap dot11 24ghz summary
