Hi Samir,
this is a bit less information.
- Provide us a "show run-config" from the controller.
- Do you have some Firewalls, Routers or ACLS in the data path between the Controller and the APs (remeber: UDP
ports 12222 and 12223 have to be open for LWAPP communications)
- What kind of switchports are the controller and the APs connected to (port mode, vlans, ...)
Best regards,
Frank

Hi Samir,
Paste the run config from the controller will be much helpfull.
Also have you assigned some routes in controller? Have you also assigned an ip on service port and if yes in what subnet?
If you paste the run config it will be much easy to find if this is config issue or network issue.

I am having the same issue I can access the WLC if there is no VLAN tagging on the WLC. Without VLAN tagging I can connect to and manage the switch, but I can't get any APs to join to it. As soon as I tag the interfaces I lose the ability to connect to them the WLC. The APs are on the same VLAN as the WLC and I have tried both DHCP and Static addressing for the APs and neithe works.
I have no firewalls between any of these devices and no ACLS on the VLANs in question.
I have the IP addresss set as
ap manager 10.250.21.253 VLAN 12
management 10.250.21.254 VLAN 12
service is 192.268.151.1
I can't get any more info right now cuz I tried setting the VLAN again since no aps could join and I can't access it by the network will have to connect to the service port again.
Here is what I have set for the switchport it connects to:
interface GigabitEthernet6/45
description trunk port to Cisco WLC
switchport trunk encapsulation dot1q
switchport trunk native vlan 12
switchport trunk allowed vlan 1-12
switchport mode trunk
!
Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

What happens if you remove the switchport trunk native vlan 12 line?
I am assuming you are trying to ping the mgmt int from another vlan/subnet
Also, I am using a vlan tag on my mgmt int and am able to ping just fine
my sw port cfg is as such:
interface GigabitEthernet2/23
switchport trunk encapsulation dot1q
switchport trunk allowed vlan 1-18,40,234
switchport mode trunk
