Hi, my WLC running 6.0.182.0 suddenly could not accept more than 47 APs!!
i have a 1240 trying to join but failed with no obvious reason (no special errors in debuging).
I unplugged one of the joined and the first one joined!!
I replugged the second one but could not join!!
I unpluged the first one and replugged the second one: the second joined the controller but the first could not associate again!!
Any ideas?

you are hitting the limit of a single ap manager interface (which is not the WLC's license limit)
you need to either configure an additional ap mgmt interface, or you enable LAG on your WLC (even if just using a single link to your infrastructure) - then you can join all APs to a single ap manager (be aware that changing the LAG setting needs a reboot and maybe a reassigning of your interfaces to your SSIDs)

Hi Stefan,
thanks for the reply.
The device is a standalone WLC not integrated to 3750.
So, can i still enable LAG?

Sure! Controller - General - LAG Mode
Please check the LAG guidelines first:
