Is the command: "config redundancy link-encryption" only available in a ldpe image? Or is there a prerequisite command that needs to be applied first before the command is available? In a normal 5508 image, that command is no where to be found.
Thanks!

Hi Nick,
The command is available in normal image. Let me know on which WLC image are you trying to give this command. There is a limitation to enable this though. Encryption of the redundant link is not supported if redundancy port is used as redundancy management interface.
Give me this information from the WLC: "show redundancy summary".

The command is not there.. I've tried multiple images. Here's the proof:
(Cisco Controller) >show redundancy summary
Redundancy Mode = SSO ENABLED
Local State = ACTIVE
Peer State = STANDBY HOT
Unit = Primary
Unit ID = A4:6C:2A:0F:D0:00
Redundancy State = SSO
Mobility MAC = A4:6C:2A:0F:D0:00
BulkSync Status = Complete
Average Redundancy Peer Reachability Latency = 77928 Micro Seconds
Average Management Gateway Reachability Latency = 612 Micro Seconds
(Cisco Controller) >config redundancy ?
interface Configure peer interface IP address
management-gateway-failover Enable/Disable Management Gateway Failover
mode Configure redundancy mode [sso | disable]
peer-route Add/Delete a network route specific to standby controller
retries Configure the redundancy retries.
timer Configure the redundancy timers.
unit Configure redundancy unit [primary | secondary]
mobilitymac Configure redundancy mobilitymac
(Cisco Controller) >config redundancy link-encryption enable
Incorrect usage. Use the '?' or <TAB> key to list commands.
(Cisco Controller) >config redundancy link-encryption ?
(Cisco Controller) >config redundancy link-?
(Cisco Controller) >show boot
Primary Boot Image............................... 8.0.120.0 (default) (active)
Backup Boot Image................................ 8.0.115.0
If you can, please demonstrate that the command is actually there, and then let me know what image you are running it on. Thanks!

I guess no one knows... Can anyone from Cisco that has actually tried this command give an authoritative answer?
