5520 License in WLC SSO

Hi All,

Need your advice for licensing when creating SSO between two 5520 WLC.

We are using smart licensing. Do, we need license for both WLC & how it communicate with cloud?

If you are using Smart Licensing then you won't need anything else.
What firmware is the controller going to be running on? I believe 8.5.140.0 and 8.8.111.0 supports Smart Licensing.

Hi Leo,

using 5520 WLC with 8.3.141.0 . I suppose, it support smart licensing.

The 5520’s support smart licensing as long as the option is there on the unit. As gas as SSO, it’s the primary unit that needs licensing.

I don't believe 8.3.143.0 support Smart Licensing.
