Hello Everyone!
I'm trying to configure a pair of 9120AXE into a bridge and after some reboot (changing the ap from capwap to workgroup, back to CAPWAP, then eWc, up grading the image, etc) it seem that the access points are always end up glitching on console... It's still working fine in SSH and they are connecting to my WLC. I did saw a similar post but my issue seem to be different since I use a real COM port directly on my desktop and also my laptop. I did tried to change my connection setup in SecurCRT (Terminal Emulation, baud rate, Xon/Xoff) (I've also tried Putty). I did reboot my PC without any success and my colleague also tested it on his PC and it does the same. I've replaced both of them on a TAC but now the replacements are doing the same. It happened to somebody else???

- Note that starting from IOS-XE 17.12.x the APs default baudrate is changed from 9600 bps to 115200 bps , to accommodate
for faster booting (and quick production state of APs)

Sounds like cable issue to me. If you can use another cable for testing, maybe you fix It.

I just replaced the console cable and no luck... We did tried it on different PC and different cables...

oh...then my next move would be factory reset the AP.

This is working! Thank you very much! I only wonder why no Cisco engineer did mention that to me during those 2 TAC. You are a Pro!

This was also just discussed on https://community.cisco.com/t5/wireless/cisco-access-point-9130axe-cli-unusual-language/m-p/5211601#M276753 and has been on a few other threads before... FYI:
This change was introduced by https://bst.cisco.com/bugsearch/bug/CSCwe88390
This is documented in https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/wireless/controller/9800/technical-reference/c9800-best-practices.html#AccessPointConsoleBaudRate so it's a good idea to go through that Best Practices guide.
