Hello Team,
Please help the steps to upgrade the image to cisco access point manually through tftp in cli.
The access point keeps reloading and not able type any commands.
Tried resetting through the mode button but no luck.
Here the actual issue, the access point not joining the wlc (cat-os 17.9.2) and cisco tac confirmed the image is corrupted.
So trying to upload the new image to the access point manually through console.
Regards,
A

Uh, what?
If Cisco TAC has confirmed "the image is corrupt" then why did TAC not provide the step-by-step instruction(s) on how to re-load/re-flash the firmware into the AP?

Re-engage TAC and ask them to send the instructions.
If it was up to me, I'd RMA the AP.

Agree with Leo - TAC *should* have given you the procedure to use but that reflects the poor quality TAC support which is all too common these days!
If you haven't already resolved it then you can do it yourself following these instructions:
https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/support/docs/wireless/catalyst-9120axi-access-point/217537-repairing-c9120-c9115-access-points-from.html
The title doesn't mention 9130 but it's the same process for 9130 and when you go to the download page you'll see the 9130 image there.
