9130AXE wont authorize to 9800EWC on 9300 switch.

I have 2 9130AXE directly connected to a 9800EWC and no matter what I try, they both state "AP Auth Pending" in Monitoring/Statistics. I am trying to create a Point to Point Mesh Bridge following the attached document. I have MAC addresses entered, AAA setup, Tags created, Policy created, Loopback 0 setup, WLAN created and no I have changed everything at one point or another. I authorizing the MACs to the local box without anything external.  Any suggestions on how to get them to Authorize or Authenticate.

What format did you use for MAC address? Please try entering it without any delimiter.

If still not working use the MAC address of the AP and generate a RA trace and post it here.

I have added the MAC addresses in without any delimiters, with a period and a colon but nothing changed. I wiped the config and restarted but I get the same thing. Here is the RA trace you asked for.

Hi Arshadsaf, I worked with a company SME to get that problem resolved and the problem was in my configuration. I was apparently trying to make the 9130 join the 9800 in Mesh mode with bridging enabled but the 9130 doesnt support any Point to Point links. I swapped the 9130 for the 9124 last week and it came right up after the config was complete. I hope Cisco puts the Point to Point function in the 9130s, they are nice AP's.

Keep this in mind..... EWC without DNAc (non-SDA), is only supported up to 17.3.x.  Might affect your implementation at a future date if you have to upgrade past that.

As part of mode consolidation Embedded Wireless on Catalyst 9000 Series Switch (non-SDA) using WebUI will be End of Support (Q3FY21) with no additional feature development or code changes and 17.3.x is the last supported release.
