had to move my wlc pair down rack. a few U.. he powered on off and slid it down, and turned it on.. and repeat for other unit.
no AP outage. Nice. except now the stack has no GUI access, reports ERR_SSL_PROTOCOL_ERROR. they appear well in CLI.
Well actually I had the tech pull the fiber on the one that should have been standby. (I think the one that sports the red alarm led) The stack IP and service port IP (on one) is up the 'other' service port seems down.
any ideas?
they are not in production yet so when I get a tech on site plug in the fiber and power cycle the whole thing and see what happens.

I had this problem too.
I wasted a couple of hours create / recreating PFXs etc. The solution was low key to change the filename of the pfx. I dont know if the name was to long or the special character were the problem, but with a "simple" name without any special characters I finally managed to get the web admin portal working again.
DOES NOT WORK: wlc+wlc-lab.domain.de_EXP_09_12_2025.pfx
WORKS : LO_CA-wlc_EXP_09_12_2025.pfx
I had a side-quest too, before I had to manage the SSL Protocol error:
if the Password contains a special Character like ! i get this error while uploading:
Error in Configuring
Reading file from bootflash:wlc+wlc-lab.domain.de_EXP_09_12_2025.pfx
even with a shorter name the correct password with a special character responds with this error
Error in Configuring
Reading file from bootflash:LO_CA-wlc_EXP_09_12_2025.pfx
Does anybody else can confirm this?
