9800 APs, Catalyst Centre Intel Reported Errors - Invalid IE (49)

Since upgrading to 9800 (IOS : 17.12.5) series controllers, my Intel clients of al types, on various types of AP are frequently reporting 'errors' like so :

Frame Type: Beacon

Error: Invalid IE (49)

Has anyone see similar and managed to investigate?

   - @Aaron Harrison      To exclude driver issues :  use the latest intel wi-fi driver(s) on a specific device and check if that makes a
                                                                              difference

same behavior, onboarding incomplete and the error is invalid IE (49) but the client is able to authenticate, so not sure if this is a cosmetic issue or real problem

  - @jucape2009          If the client has no further  wireless issues , I would say it's cosmetic
