Hello there
Lately after migrating many of our sites from 2504/5508 to a 9800CL controller solution we've encountered an issue where the disk fills up completely and causes bootloop like the title says. As we migrate more sites to the new controller the issue is becoming increasingly significent as it acceleres the rate at which the disk fills
We setup a syslog server for the controller to pass the wncd tracelogs to, however it still saves them om the local disk. For some time we have tried to figure out how to disable all trace logging to the local disk, unsuccesfully.
Previously we tried the command set platform software trace wncd chassis active r0 all-modules emergency however it makes no change.
Any suggestions?

Might be a known bug https://bst.cloudapps.cisco.com/bugsearch/bug/CSCvs66909
I suggest a TAC case and let us know the outcome.

Seeing the same issue on 17.3.3, were you able to resolve this? I opened a TAC case and the engineer said everything looked good ???

Hello dangle79cc
After upgrading to 17.3.4 and expanding disk size we didn't see any further issues.
We reinstalling the Wireless LAN Controller with 16GB diskspace instead of 8GB, which was the biggest alternative back in jan 2020 when we first launched at ver. 16.12.1t
