A/P-1602E doesn't ditect 5508 controller

                   Hi all,

I have a wireless controller with version 7.2 . access point

AIR-LAP1142N-E-K9 is working fine but access point  AIR-CAP1602E-E-K9 doen't join the group(it's getting ip address and the see the mac address asw ell.) .Anyone can give me a clue why this is not joining??I am in a critical situation.

AP1602 is supported with WLC firmware 7.4.100.0.

thanks a lot for the prompt answer.But if I upgrade this controller to the 7.4,will the remaining a/p-1142 work with 7.4??

My first response to your post, I've included a link to a table which gives you the model of APs and the softwares supported.

1602 and 1140 are in that list.
