Access Point Association Log

Hi all,

I have a interesting question to ask with.

The scenario is like this:

I have several APs (Cisco 1100), and a Syslog server. And for the clients, there will be HP PocketPC PDA.

Is it possible to log down the date&time and the MAC addresses and authentication details of the PocketPC that have associated and dissociated at any given time?

Isn't this automatic behaviour?

We receive assoc, deassoc and roaming and a log more messages using the following:

snmp-server enable traps snmp authentication linkdown linkup coldstart warmstart

snmp-server enable traps tty

snmp-server enable traps entity

snmp-server enable traps disassociate

snmp-server enable traps deauthenticate

snmp-server enable traps authenticate-fail
