I have to install a new setup with WLC 2504 and 4 1832I access points. I am doing ot with the help of videos and documents as am new to Wireless infra.
I am able to configure WLC and its i am able to login the gui mode. I tested with one access point its showing as not joined in Moniter-->statics-->Ap joine (no ethernet MAc showing) Kindly help make my setup up
WLC ip:-10.4.2.25
Vlan is :-100
Do i need to creat diffrent vlan for Access point
switch side :-wlc connected interface I made as trunk port and access points are access vlan 100

Hi,
1. 1832 AP need minimum SW version on WLC is 8.1.122.0 and you have 7.6.120.0
Compatibility matrix: http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/wireless/compatibility/matrix/compatibility-matrix.html
2. Your AP model is with Europe Regulatory domain:
Product/Model Number : AIR-AP1832I-E-K9
3. And you WLC is configured with US country code:
Configured Country............................... US - United States
Wireless compliance status: http://www.cisco.com/c/dam/assets/prod/wireless/wireless-compliance-tool/index.html

Also paste the bootup process from cisco AP console.

I would like change my WLC ip, vlan, I connected through CLI and need to change mangament ip to new kindly let me know how to do that.

Is the issue because if this ..?
If am upgrading the firmware will i get the device joined in WLC.
does my all other configurations are correct

first you need to upgrade the WLC software.
second, change the country to any European country on WLC. Then it will join.
