Access Point with 2 IP addresses

Hi everyone!

I noticed that there are 2 fields of IP address information when configuring  static IP Address on APs at the WLC 9800 GUI at page Configuration > Wireless > Access Points >All Access Points - General.

One field is "Static IPv4 Address" but I can't change this value,

and the other field "Static IP (IPv4/IPv6)" which I can change the configuration.

I noticed that the values in these fields are different for the same AP (image attached).

When I issue the command 'show cdp nei detail' on the switch, I see that the IP address that is actually applied is that in the field I can't change.

Is that a problem?

Thanks in advance!

Not 100% what the top on showing, but could be the current IP address

Have you confirmed that the new IP address has not been used by something else (IP Conflict) as that would stop it from applying.

Try rebooting the AP

Try applying the static IP via the 9800 CLI:

ap name AP03 static-ip ip-address
 9.9.9.16 netmask 255.255.0.0 gateway 9.9.9.2
