Access points as repeaters?

In the configuration guide for the BR1310 its stated that "You cannot configure multiple VLANs on repeater access points. Repeater access points support only the native VLAN". Can this be correct? We have one native vlan with an infrastructure ssid and multiple vlans configured on a repeater between two bridges. This seems to be no problem. Can i delete the other vlans and still all vlans are bridged between the networks?

Have also many AP1231G that act as repeaters plus that the vlans also have different ssids for our wireless clients. This also seems to work properly.

Im i missing out something here?

We are now deploying AP1231G as repeaters with the same configuration as our existing APs. Theese will be placed within range of our APs for home office use (only wireless clients used in the home).

In fact we will configure all new and existing units with the fallback to repeater option.

Tried to delete all our user vlans on the BR1310 repeater. The clients on the different vlans then lost connection.
