I am using Radius and mac authentication with Cisco Secure ACS 3.3 (IOS 12.3(2)JA)
What happens when clients roam aps? Is there such a thing as fast/secure roaming when using Radius/mac authentication?
I wasn't certain if I should bother with Cisco WDS since I'm using radius mac-address based authentication.

Hi there,
Yes , using WDs with its Fast Secure Roaning feature would improve re authenciation times when cleints roam. The wds master ap will store all of the user info of sucessfully authencation users and use this info to re authenicate the users as they roam instead of heading all the back to the ACS server.
I have seen this done with just mac authenication.
Hope this helps.
Regards,
Aaron

i have 2 1200 Ap with WDS and 3 VLAN (100,101,102)
with mac authentication only. When client roam WDS re-authenticate users to ACS .
I do not have VLAN 1 up ,but native vlan is 120
How i can configure the APs with FRS .have you an example ??
