I have a prototype wireless lan in place using WDS, LEAP,TKIP, MIC and key rotation. I'm using a combination of Centrino enabled laptops along with some Cisco 350 PCMCIA laptops. I am also authenticating to a TACACS+ 3.3 server. We now want to use the AD for the secure logon. Where in the configuration do I make this change? Can I still use the TACACS+ server? Using Cisco 1230 access points with 12.2(15)xr2 firmware.

Configuration to use external db (AD) would be done in the ACS. Just point the ACS to the AD server(s) using the ACS Remote Agent. Plenty of docs on CCO
that explain this. The AP configuration should not have to change. Still points to the ACS. You have to configure the backend communications from the ACS to AD. HTH...
