I want "priming" my LAPs, so I connect my LAPs in the same segment than the WLC and the DHCP server, the LAPs obtain its ip address and the address of the wireless lan controllers (option43) through DHCP, and now I want to send them to remote branch. The LAPs for the remote branch they will have a static ip address and the address of the wireless lan controllers, remains? Or through the name of the "Primary Controller Name" box the LAPs achieve reach the WLC? , If the LAPs use this name than method for reach to WLC, DNS is not neccesary? I can check which ip address is the than the remote LAPs are using?
