  1. 1562 firmware can be found HERE.
  2. Console into the AP and use the command "archive download-sw tftp://<TFTP_IP_ADDRESS>/<filename>.tar"

Thanks Leo but HERE is not a link

Leo, I Just wanted to manually upgrade the IOS from 8.5.131.0(Lightweight AP IOS Image)  to 8.10.130.0(controller IOS version) so that the AP can join the controller. i just needed the commands and instructions on how to upgrade the IOS version.

My apologies.  Link is fixed.

If the AP is not joining the controller, console into the AP and post the complete output to the command "sh capwap client rcb" because I suspect the AP came with MESH mode enabled.

the output from the above command

AP7488.BB1D.47C8#sh capwap client rcb

Post the complete output to the following commands:

[*03/25/2023 05:42:02.9553] Controller rejected image download.Check if TFTP server configured on ME WLC or maximum concurrent download limit has reached

1. What hardware is the controller?

2.  A few observations:
AIR-AP1562I-E-K9     <- EU regulatory domain AP
System Timezone Location......................... (GMT +3:00) Baghdad  <-- Iraq
Configured Country............................... KE - Korea Extended (CK)   <-- Korea
WLC: 8.10.130.0
AP Running Image : 8.5.131.0

So we're a bit confused about the country and regulatory domain there!
And WLC is running old 8.10 software and AP is running old 8.5 software.

3.  But I think the real answer is probably the clue that comes from the WLC name which has ME in it (relating to my first point) - is this Mobility Express?  If so, then 1562 is not supported as a subordinate AP.
https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/wireless/access_point/mob_exp/810/release_notes/b_ME_RN_810.html#me-supp-ap

PS: I've said this before and I'll say it again - when you ask a question tell us what model of WLC you're using, what version of software its running, what model of AP you're using and (where relevant) what model of software it has.  And obviously always read the release notes and all the docs and field notices linked below.

1. The controller hardware is AIR-AP-1832I-E-K9

3. Yes it is mobility express

Thank you for your support

@Rich R is correct.

The Regulatory Domain of the AP is incorrect.

1. 1562 runs AP-COS (Linux based) not IOS.  The last APs to run IOS were the 1700/2700/3700 series APs.

2. Lightweight (CAPWAP) image is used to join controller - you can find that at https://software.cisco.com/download/home/286290657/type/286288051/release/15.3.3-JK3 but 8.10.130.0 is very old so you should update the WLC as per TAC recommended link below.  Also the AP will automatically download the image from the WLC when it joins so you should not need to do it yourself.  The command for upgrading manually is given by Leo above.
