There is a Cisco 3504 WLC which has approx. 90 AP's attached. The pass-thru and/or LAN ports are being used for an IP phone. Some weeks ago, the pass-thru and LAN ports on all AP's are no longer allowing any traffic. If the IP phone is connected to the same switch port directly, it connects immediately. There have been no changes to the WLC during this time. Any ideas would be appreciated.

- It is not recommended to connect APs to ports on the controller ,

Thanks for the reply, the AP was not connected directly the WLC but by Cisco POE switch.

- There can be various reasons, possible resource exhaustion (e.g.) : as this platform (controller) is getting old , use last software that it can run : https://software.cisco.com/download/home/286312601/type/280926587/release/8.10.185.0 , check if that can help ,

- Update software as per Marce's suggestion - refer to TAC recommended versions below.
- Meanwhile reboot AP and/or WLC might temporarily resolve the issue.

Thanks for the links etc. I'll look into updating the WLC software and go from there, cheers.
