AIR-CAP 1800/2800 vs 1700/2700

hi,

i'm comparing the AIR-CAP x800 vs x700 series AP and found this link.

https://supportforums.cisco.com/discussion/12689091/ap-1850-vs-2700

is it just clean air not supported on the 1800/2800 series AP?

any other major difference between the two?

which is the 'go to' AP to deploy? x800 or x700?

Once the IOS for the 1800/2800/3800 stabilizes, Cisco is going to announce the RMA for the 1700/2700/3700.

If you look at the Release Notes for 8.2 and 8.3 you'll see the list as long Chinese take-away menu about bugs for the 1800/2800/3800.

I am not sure about others but all of my 2800 are still in the box.  I am still deploying 3700 until all my stocks are exhausted.
