Hello every one here,
am badly in need of any help,
i recommended my client to buy cisco AP for his different locations,
but all APs bought (50) are in lightweight mode, i need to convert them to autonomous because they are to be used in different places,
my client is in my neck and wants to see them working, he can't buy the wireless controllers because it will be out of his budget
have tried to download the autonomous firmware but i have no contract or license with cisco,
please help me with the firmware for CISCO AIRONET 702W-A-K9
thanks for your help,

You can try to open a TAC to see if they can get you the code, but without a contract there is noting we can do here on the forums.

You could look at a virtual controller if you have VM resources

Cisco software is licensed so nobody can share the software with you. You can try asking the seller of the APs.
You should be aware that those APs are already past end of support so TAC and Cisco resellers may refuse to help you:
https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/products/collateral/wireless/aironet-700-series/eos-eol-notice-c51-739491.html
If you know the filename of the IOS image you're looking for you can try searching for it - you might get lucky.
You could also try following the instructions on a security advisory for customers without contracts. For example look at:
https://sec.cloudapps.cisco.com/security/center/content/CiscoSecurityAdvisory/cisco-sa-20171016-wpa
Refer to the section "Customers Without Service Contracts" then email TAC quoting the URL of the advisory, quoting that section, the serial number of your AP and the link to the software you want access to - eg:
https://software.cisco.com/download/home/284741752/type/284180979/release/15.3.3-JK10
TAC might refuse to help because the AP is already end of support but if they decide to help then they will publish the software directly to you.
