Yes, 1552 Mesh AP work with 2504 with below code version.

155X Access Point is supported from WLC code 7.0.116.0 on 7.0 and 7.2.103.0 on 7.2.

Note:Do not connect AP directly to 1552 AP, Use an switch between 2500 WLC and 155X Mesh AP per cisco's recommendation.
