I want to set up some more APs as  know model AIR-AP2802I-K9 can't be bought any more. 

Our AP controller is AIR-CT5508-K9 I would like to know what AP models that controller can support

55xx model end of life (going to soon)

Moving forward you need to look Cat 9800 and Cat 9K AP for Long run.

If you are on the latest release you any of these APs. But the "newest" AP you can use is the 2800/3800. If you want support for newer APs you need too look at C9800 WLCs.
