I recently got an Aironet 1240AGs that is connecting to a catalyst 3560 switche (layer 3 switche). I have DHCP on a Windows 2003 server. The native vlan on the Aironet gets a DHCP address from the Windows 2003 server and assigns it to the wireless clients. However, clients on different SSID's on different VLANs do not pick up a DHCP address. The same VLANs on the switches work fine with the helper address configured. I tried assigning helper address on the fast ethernet sub interface for each VLAN on the aironet but it did not help. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

And you have 2 DHCP scopes: One for VLAN 1 and another for VLAN 40? Is this right?

That's right, I have 2 scopes.
