Hello
installing 2 AIR-BR1310G-E-K9-R (Aironet 1310 Outdoor AP/BR w/RP-TNC) as wireless bridge and using AIR-ANT2410Y-R 2.4 GHz,10 dBi Yagi with RP-TNC Connector as antennas
can someone tell the minimum number of antennas needed at each side, i was confused by the document below
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/prod/collateral/wireless/ps7183/ps469/at_a_glance_c45-513837.pdf
that states the needed number per access point/bridge is 3, and there are only 2 antenna connectors on the bridge
please help
regards

Hi Elie,
That doc is referencing .11n installs, but in your case the 1310 bridge
is generally connected with 1 x 2410 at either end of the bridge

Only to add to Robs good post +5 Rob ..
1300 bridges are EOL and only support 2.4 GHz 802.11b/g (ERP-OFDM). These units have 2 bulk heads, you can use 1 bulk head if you choose not to use diversity. Also make sure you have identical antennas on each end if its a POINT to POINT (P-t-P).

thank you Rob, George
i may not need to use diversity since the antennas & bridges will be connecting 2 buildings in open air with direct line of sight at a distance of 150m
cheers
