AP 1100 Restore Functionality

Hi folks,

I experienced a few days ago, onde thing regarding AP 1100.

I´ve tried to upgrade de IOS version, but in the middle of upgrade, the system crashed, and right now, I can not upgrade by Command line, or even GUI (GUI is unavailable). So, the leds of AP, are blinking, switchover between green and red, and this behavior seems like a looping AP, that it is trying to boot, but he can't.

I would like to know, if this case the only solution is return the device to Cisco, or there is any procedure to follow, to restore the good working of the device.

I´ve already tried to restore the IOS by the common procedures, but I did'n get success.

Any help is welcome.

This could be a case where the new IOS that you are trying to upgrade to is corrupted, Try downloading the IOS again and check. You could following the steps given in the following URL. This document explains how to upgrade the IOS On Access points.
