Ap 1131AG can't access device

Hi all

i am new here and this is my first post - i am sorry for mistakes.

I have several AP's of 1131 AG used in autonomous mode. Resently one of them stops responding:

i was not able to access web management or ping its NIC.

I've tried with reseting device to default but no success, even more when i plug ethernet cable to AP port nothing happens even NIC led's are not blinking at all.

On CLI console i am seeing repeated constantly such entries:

My question is can you help me to isolate this issue ?

what more can i check or provide you ?

how can i fix it?  ( i have new firmware but how to upload it without this interface running ? )

i'll appreciate any guide.

Hello Tomas,

yes, you can use it as repeater.

meaning that it associate to another AP and repeat its signal.

from the repeater charactaristics. it shut down its ethernet port , as it use only radio for communication.

to set the AP as repeater , all settings have to be same as the other AP ( the one you want to repeat its signal).

and go to

conf t

interface dot11radio 0

station-role repeater

Thats perfect because actually the goal of this AP was to spread area coverage so it will reach our goal.

I will learn more on that option and eventually create new thread if needed.

also i can use it as pre-production tests and learning stuff.
