Hi All,
I have a lightweight AP that boots into Romon, if i hold the reset button in for 10 seconds or so it will boot into the IOS and download the config from the controller but never registers. then once i reboot it it goes back to Romon unless i hold in the button again.
attached is a log.

Well this worries me;
WARNING: A memory error occurred during the system start-up
self-test. The device must be serviced if the error persists.
The following commands can, optionally, be used to initialize
the flash file system and the TFTP file transfer system:
When in romon, you can do a set command to see the values and to make changes.
ap: set IP_ADDR 192.168.133.160
ap: set NETMASK 255.255.255.0
ap: set DEFAULT_ROUTER 192.168.133.1

Thanks Scott, i have tryed to use the set cmd to load an IOS on the decive with no luck ,
it is odd that it will boot into IOS if you hold in the button, i have also held the button for 20 seconds to try and load an IOS but that didnt work as well.
would downgrading to Autonimous and then back to lightweight help?

You can try that. If you do a dir flash: does it show a rcv (recovery image)? You can do a set bootflash and point to that file also.

Use the archive command and then the overwrite switch. Something like archive download-sw /o
